Our Students from Department of Tourism and Business Management Won Good Results in Guizhou Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition of 2018
From April 2nd to 4th, under the lead of Shu Xuanbi and Huang Hua, four students and their guide teachers went to Guizhou Tourism School to take part in Guizhou Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition of 2018. After heated competition, Luo Guanglin and Qu Yingjie won the first and second prize in Tour Guide Contest of Mandarin, Xiao Wenwen and Chen Zhengyan won the first and second prize in Tour Guide Contest of English.
There are four parts in competition: prepared tour guide explanation, quiz of tourism knowledge, optional tour guide explanation and talent show. During the competition, our students brought the house down by showing their excellent gifts such as songs, dances, traditional Chinese operas and recital.
This competition expressed the students’ spirit of positivity and the awareness of working hard. What’s more, it improved learning and communication between our teachers and other Guizhou vocational college teachers, which made contributes to college development. After competition, the guide teachers and students are still active in training, because they are trying their best to get good results in national competition as the representative of Guizhou.
